a litter of 7 traditional mini double doodle puppies. Double doodles are a cross between the popular Goldendoodle and Labradoodle breeds. Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, Dasher, Dancer, and Vixen each has a beautiful coat that will likely get quite curly. In fact, most of the litter looks just like Niko (their dad) did as a pup–nice and red with a beautiful coat. Prancer’s looks take after his mom (Maisy). He’s a little lighter colored (apricot) and his coat is straighter; we think he will look more like his mom (pictured below) and have more of the Labradoodle look.
Based on their 23 pound F1b Goldendoodle dad (Niko) and 37 pound f1b Labradoodle mom (Maisy), we expect these puppies to be 24-35 pounds fully grown. That weight puts them into our traditional mini category. We price these puppies like our Goldendoodle and Labradoodles, and we are confident that these pups will make great family members to any forever home at Christmas time. We’ve had families who can’t decide between a Labradoodle and a Goldendoodle that decide to get a Double Doodle to try to incorporate the loyalty of the Labradoodle with the friendliness of the Goldendoodle.
Christmas Puppies: As stated on all our websites in the area of pricing, December puppies carry an extra $200 fee because of the great demand for Christmas surprises. This applies to all puppies and all deposit families whether your deposit was placed in July or in November. If you would prefer to avoid the Christmas charge, please feel free to wait for a 2018 puppy. It isn’t uncommon for families to reach out to us weeks before Christmas with great hope that they will be able to surprise their children with their dream gift—a new puppy under the tree. While we continue to honor our practice of matching puppies by going in order of deposits placed, we do promise later deposit families that we will include them in at least one December litter announcement with the possibility that a family higher on the list might choose to pass enabling us to fit them in. If you don’t have your heart set on a Christmas puppy or do have traveling obligations, feel free to pass on this mini Goldendoodle litter.
