Chocolate Labradoodle Puppies is pleased to announce...

Our litter of medium Labradoodles born Sunday June 11. We had a wonderful color variety in this litter, and they all seem to have curly coats. We expect the pups to be very gentle like their 45 pound Labradoodle mother, Terri, and incredibly smart like their 48 pound poodle dad, Stryker. Terri is a silver Labradoodle and Stryker is a chocolate/white parti color purebred poodle, so we get great color variety with their litters. Based on previous litters, we expect a couple of Terri's "black" Labradoodle puppies to actually be silver/blue. Here's a picture of an adult silver/blue. These pups have been very gentle; great with kids, and not very vocal at all. We wouldn't be at all surprised to see some of them doing therapy work. Often we give detailed descriptions of the pups trying to identify the alpha, the most laid back of the litter, etc. So far, these puppies seem to have very similar personalities. They enjoy running, playing with toys, and chasing the kids, but they seem most content cuddling with someone. If we had to identify at leader at this point, it's probably Snowflake the cream girl. Tiny, Buddy, Midnight, and Sadie are exceptionally cuddly.

Additionally, we believe that Tiny is a Cafe Au Lait colored Labradoodle (not chocolate). Although she looked very similar to her chocolate litter mates initially, we can see the lighter colors coming through now. Below is a picture of an adult Cafe Au Lait Labradoodle to give you an idea of the color (closer to tan/gold, not chocolate).

Meet the Labradoodle Puppies

Bailey (pictured above) is a dark chocolate f1b labradoodle girl with a gorgeous patch of white on her chest:

Adoption fee:

$1,000 base + $200 wavy/curly coat + $300 chocolate + $100 special markings + $100 female = $1700 (minus $300 deposit) $1400 due at pickup

Buddy (pictured above)is a black f1b Labradoodle boy; we expect that Buddy will fade to a silver/blue color. The silver/blue Labradoodles (like poodles) start out black, but you start to see the silver/blue coming through in the roots of their hair. After their first grooming, they look like a different color of dog. Many people consider the silver/blue Labradoodles to be some of the prettiest. See the beginning of the announcement for a picture of an adult blue/silver Labradoodle.

Adoption fee:

$1,000 base + $200 wavy/curly coat = $1200 (minus $300 deposit) $900 due at pickup

Cooper (pictured above) is a sweet black F1b Labradoodle boy. We don't see the blue/silver roots yet with Cooper, so our guess is that he will remain dark black, though it's hard to predict with 100% accuracy.

Adoption fee:

$1,000 base + $200 wavy/curly coat = $1200 (minus $300 deposit) $900 due at pickup

Hershey (pictured above)is a gorgeous chocolate boy with a really thick coat.

Adoption fee:

$1,000 base + $200 wavy/curly coat + $300 chocolate = $1500 (minus $300 deposit) $1200 due at pickup

Midnight (pictured above), the sweet black girl loves to cuddle.

Adoption fee:

$1,000 base + $200 wavy/curly coat + $100 female = $1300 (minus $300 deposit) $1000 due at pickup

Molly is a beautiful chocolate Labradoodle girl with a white chest and a tuft of white on her chin. She looks almost identical to her sister Bailey.

$1,000 base + $200 wavy/curly coat + $300 chocolate + $100 special markings + $100 female = $1700 (minus $300 deposit) $1400 due at pickup

Oreo (pictured above) is a gorgeous black girl with a white chest and white feet.

Adoption fee:

$1,000 base + $200 wavy/curly coat + $100 special markings + $100 female = $1400 (minus $300 deposit) $1100 due at pickup

Sadie (pictured above) is a pretty black girl. There's a possibility that she will end up as a blue/silver as we feel like we see a little bit of lighter hair underneath the black. It's hard to know for sure with Sadie whether she will stay black or fade to blue/silver.

Adoption fee:

$1,000 base + $200 wavy/curly coat + $100 female = $1300 (minus $300 deposit) $1000 due at pickup

Snowflake (pictured above) is a beautiful cream girl with a gorgeous coat.

Adoption fee:

$1,000 base + $200 wavy/curly coat + $200 cream + $100 female = $1500 (minus $300 deposit) $1200 due at pickup

Tiny is the smallest pup in the litter. She's super sweet-natured. Her chocolate has started to fade, and as her hair grows, we can see that underneath it's a lighter color. That's why we're not charging extra for chocolate coloring for her. This color is officially called Cafe Au Lait (see the top of the announcement to see an adult dog that is Cafe Au Lait in color). We think Tiny will end up being a beautiful Labradoodle, but likely, not chocolate, and when the outside hair is chocolate and the hair underneath the lighter color, it's a bit of an awkward color phase for any pup. The same thing happens with blue/silver pups that start out black. [Tiny stepped in her water bowl right before her pictures, so her front paws look wet].
