Karen

Karen and her husband, Doug, have a love for people and cultures from around the world and served in a Christian ministry in Guam for 20 years. They are looking forward to their next missions adventure in South Africa within the next couple of years. Karen holds a mathematics degree and a master’s degree in education. She loves encouraging conversation, mentorship, flavored coffees, exercising, entertaining, and everything in the kitchen (well, except the dishes!). Karen’s family of 6 just recently adopted their sweet Cavapoo, Nandi, and are absolutely in love. Nandi means “sweet” in Zulu, the language of the people group they will serve in South Africa.
